Don’t you wish you had a mom like me? ;)
Josh had to work most of the day today, so I took the kids into the city to play. We had a ton of fun. First we went to FAO Schwarz. Titus got to play on the floor piano…the same one that is in the movie Big with Tom Hanks.
The kids wanted to know if they could get one for our house. I had to laugh, because even if we wanted one (and could afford one) we don’t have enough floor space to put it…the thing is massive.
After wandering through the store and picking out a couple of games to take home, we walked over to Dylan’s Candy Bar. That was fun. If you’re looking for a specific kind of candy that is hard to find…chances are you’ll find it at Dylan’s.
The three of us then jumped on the subway to Union Square where we had dinner at Max Brenner. Actually…I don’t know if you could technically call it dinner. The three of us split a sandwich and a salad and then chowed down on chocolate.

Oh my goodness…fun and yum!!! You are a fantastic, fun mom- I love it!!! And you have a pretty great mom too- I got to see her at Heaven Can Wait last weekend. Anyway, glad you had such a great trip into the city. I want a bite of that chocolate pizza. We’ll have to go there on our girls get-a-way to NJ/NY.
Oooohhhh! Ahhhhh! You are the best! My children would give their eye teeth to experience something like that. I love your pictures. T and I were talking about you last night. I was telling him how in your element you are in NJ and I sat thinking about how much I miss having you in my element! However, that girls get-a-way is going to be so much fun!
Um I am so super jealous! I’ve wanted to go to Dylan’s for quite some time now since I saw it on some morning show a couple of years ago. I found one of her shirts at a local discount store and had to get it! I enjoyed the pics of your little ones “eating up” the moment!!!
